Victoria Beckham apparently feels more confident when she slicks on some lip gloss.

Victoria is known for her severe pout, which is famously always glossed.

While stopped in traffic recently, the popstar-turned-fashion designer was snapped applying a Stila Lip Glaze, costing just £15.

Friends say Victoria never leaves home without her secret beauty weapon.

"Victoria never goes anywhere without her lip gloss," a friend told Britain's Heat magazine. "It's like war paint and she feels more confident when she's wearing it. She really likes her lips and likes to accentuate them."

Posh has long been a fan of the glossy, nude shade she was pictured applying. And it's not the first time she has demonstrated her love for the budget brand.

"I love those Stila lip glosses that you twist and click," she previously said. "They smell and taste nice."

Victoria has admitted in the past that her pout may make her look silly. The designer went a step further last weekend, referencing photographs of her unsmiling face to explain why some people might think she is unfriendly.

"Everyone thinks I'm going to be a cow," she said at London's Vogue Festival. "I get it when I see the photos."

The mother-of-four attended the event to chat about the success of her dress line. Once asked if she would ever design a beauty product, she answered it would be "the perfect nude lip gloss."
