Victoria Justice becomes sexy extraterrestrial for new Coachella art exhibit
The star snapped her interstellar images just hours ahead of partying at the Coachella festival.
Singer-and-actress Victoria Justice has morphed into "a sexy extraterrestrial" for her new Desert X art installation.
The former Disney star is participating in the innovative exhibit, which features the work of emerging artists set against the backdrop of California's Coachella Valley desert landscape, by posing for photographer Bridger Scott's striking space-inspired images.
In the cosmic photographs, Victoria taps into her inner alien by donning a powder-blue wig and a series of outrageous outfits made out of latex and shimmery, see-through textiles.
“We were inspired by the breathtaking landscape reflected in the striking art installations,” Bridger tells Just Jared of the inspiration behind the photo shoot. “Victoria became a sexy extraterrestrial, fallen from the sky and wandering the desert in search of transcendental life forms. She is naturally captivating on set and a connected team player.”
Victoria has been sharing pictures from the interstellar shoot on her Instagram account, noting she modelled for the series just ahead of partying at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival last weekend (22-23Apr17).
“Just an alien whose spaceship landed in the desert, looking for a certain music festival & a good time,” she captioned an image of her kneeling in the sand while donning pink thigh-high boots and a sheer top with blue feathers. “Did this really cool photoshoot right before Coachella in Palm Springs.”
Fans can see snaps from the installation, which was styled by Allan Troy using designer Falguni Shane Peacock gowns and Privileged brand shoes, at the Desert X exhibit until 30 April (17).
