Whitney Port says Ashley Olsen has a “great sense of style”.

The TV star-and-fashionista has discussed whose celebrity style she admires. Whitney is a huge fan of actress-turned-designer Ashley and would be thrilled to wear some of her outfits.

“Ashley Olsen’s – she has such a great sense of style,” Whitney told British magazine Closer when asked whose wardrobe she would like. “Her outfits have a rocky edge while managing to stay quite classic at the same time.”

Whitney recently revealed her admiration for Ashley by urging her followers to join her on the “backpack bandwagon”.

Ashley and her twin Mary-Kate helped the bag make its comeback after producing limited edition crocodile leather rucksacks for their label The Row.

Whitney was also quizzed on how her style differs to her former The City co-star Olivia Palermo. Both ladies are renowned for staying ahead of the trends, but Whitney says she prefers a more laidback California-inspired look.

“I think Olivia has amazing style,” Whitney said. “She always looks so well put-together and sophisticated. My style is more casual and funky.”

The 28-year-old went on to discuss her favourite looks and also revealed what her boyfriend, TV producer Tim Rosenman, likes to see her wearing.

“My boyfriend loves me in a simple T-shirt and jeans – but I feel my sexiest in girlie dresses,” she smiled. “I love high-waisted shorts and lots of gold bracelets to channel my bohemian side.”
