Whitney Port: NYFW show was special
Whitney Port has thanked her supporters for making her New York Fashion Week show "special".
The reality-TV-star-turned-designer showed her Whitney Eve Fall/Winter 12 collection yesterday, and took to her blog shortly after the runway to show her appreciation.
Whitney expressed her nerves before the display, so says support from her fans meant a lot to her on the day.
"I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to my show today. Your support means so much to me and seeing all of your faces in the audience made this day that much more special," she wrote.
Hours earlier, she updated fans about how she was feeling ahead of the show. The blonde beauty admitted she felt a mix of emotions ahead of the prestigious event.
"I just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for checking in with me and being so supportive ever since I announced that I would be showing at New York Fashion Week," she said.
"I am at Lincoln Center right now getting everything ready for my show that is just a few hours away and I have so many emotions running through my head - I am excited, nervous, proud, anxious, grateful, to name a few, and the butterflies in my stomach have not subsided in days. I can't believe this day has finally come and I am so excited for you all to see this labour of love (sic)."
Whitney's newest collection featured 26 looks - with graphic shapes, eye-catching polka dot prints and jewel hues all present on the runway. It was packed with cocktail dresses, glittered jackets and embellished shorts.
