Zac Efron toughens up for denim campaign

Zac Efron's new advertising campaign for John John Denim has been revealed.

The 25-year-old actor shot the commercial on the streets of Los Angeles with photographer Jacques Dequeker with styling by Jenny Richter and Felipe Veloso.

Zac was announced as the new face of the Brazilian fashion line earlier this year.

His new commercial for the brand is entitled The Race and sees Zac take part in an illegal drag race between two retro cars.

The heartthrob is seen wearing an assortment of the line's denim and leather clothing, including a denim jacket with metal studs on the shoulders.

Following the theme of his debut advert for the brand, Zac's image is toughened up by a messy hairstyle and dark, moody lighting.

As well as completing a solo dance around a 1965 Mustang Fastback the new campaign sees Zac engage in some provocative dancing with a variety of models.

This is part of Zac's recent manly makeover in an attempt to rid himself of his High School Musical teen image.

In spring 2012 he poured on the charm in the romantic drama The Lucky One, and later took Cannes by storm in the Florida-set death-row thriller The Paperboy, in which he romped with Nicole Kidman.

This latest commercial solidifies the fact Zac's image has been transformed.
