Zayn Malik has 'zero body fat'

One Direction's Zayn Malik is reportedly dropping too much weight after cutting down on carbs and working out heavily.

The One Direction star and bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are currently busy with their Take Me Home Tour.

To keep then in top condition, the boys have been doing intense workouts including boxing and circuit training, but it seems the 20-year-old is taking things too far.

"Zayn's adamant about getting in shape and he's been running a lot," a source explained to British magazine Star.

"As he's naturally slim and he's eating fewer calories, it's left him with zero body fat."

Apparently their chef has made sure the band eats healthily on tour, preparing low-carb meals for the lads.

According to the insider, Zayn is losing weight faster than the others because of his naturally smaller build.

Recently the dark-haired hunk has been snapped looking tired and skinny and seems to be reaching for cigarettes when he's stressed.

"Zayn is the most emotional of the group and finds the magnitude of their fame hard to deal with. Sometimes the pressure gets too much," the source continued.

"Between performing every night, rehearsals all day, exercising and going out partying, Zayn is doing too much and not putting his health first. He's exhausted and it's really started to show."
