Zoe Saldana: Kors is classic designer
Zoe Saldana says Michael Kors' New York Fashion Week Show was an example of his "American classic" designs.
The actress was joined in the front row by a whole host of stars including Michael Douglas, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Courtney Love for the Spring/Summer 12 collection preview.
Kors showed a safari-inspired- line in both bold hues and a more natural palette.
Zoe is a firm fan of the designer and says his recent runway didn't disappoint.
"He's an American classic," she told People backstage after the show. "He really designs good clothes for women, all kinds of women.
"He's a very good human being and he works really, really hard. But he's really humble still, and I think his work reflects that."
Michael - whose Hollywood wife Catherine Zeta-Jones was unable to attend the show - was also impressed with Kors' new line.
The American actor had a great time watching the "relaxed" catwalk on Wednesday.
"It was fun," he said. "I liked the crocheted [garments] a lot. The gowns, and the colours he just makes it look like fun. It doesn't look pressed or pushed too far."
Michael has spent a lot of time in Africa. The 66-year-old star connected with the animal-inspired attire.
"I got a kick out of it," he explained. "And the zebra patterns are always fun. I really liked the materials that he was using. It looked like he had actually worked it."
