Zooey Deschanel has joked she's going to start wearing "power suits" to throw people off her signature style.
The New Girl actress is famed for her quirky feminine style and often rocks bohemian dresses and pretty vintage-inspired attire.
Zooey appears as InStyle's cover girl for the April edition and has joked she may have to mix up her signature look just to toy with people.
“People are more affected by how I look and dress myself than I think anyone would care to admit. I guess I’ll just have to start wearing power suits,” she quipped in an interview with the fashion magazine.
Zooey also revealed the secret behind great style. The brunette beauty insists money can't help someone develop fantastic fashion sense.
“Style isn’t when you buy yourself the most expensive things. It’s being creative and able to put together what you’ve collected," she explained.
“I didn’t have a lot of money, so I got things for, like $2, $3, and made myself look as good as I could. Limitations make you more creative.”
Zooey, 33, showed off her cute style as she arrived on the red carpet for the 30th Annual Paley Fest honouring her hit TV series New Girl.
The star donned a monochrome striped dress which she paired with black tights and matching black heels.
Zooey was joined by her castmates including Hannah Simone.
Hannah stood out in a knee-length orange frock and kept her beauty look simple with her long dark locks worn loose and straight.
