Our reporter checks out the style in Belfast City Centre.

Jim Folliard (39)

Works in IT, Londonderry

Wore what? Jacket, £150, Rapha; jeans, Diesel, £90; trainers, £40, Adidas.

Why? I wear very casual clothes both in and out of work. I really don’t like suits and ties — I’m very skinny so they don’t fit me very well and aren’t comfortable.

Who? I like Alessandro Pirlo’s style as he always looks casual. I’m not keen on the very tanned and dressed up look of Joey Essex.

Michael Hobbs (33)

Regional manager, Hugo Boss, Bristol

Wore what? Jacket, £450, tie, £89, shirt, £79, trousers, £179 and shoes, £279, all Hugo Boss.

Why? I have to wear Hugo Boss as a uniform at work but I would dress like this anyway. I go for a classic look — I would never wear a Hawaiian shirt!

Who? I like Gerard Butler as he wears a lot of Hugo Boss. I'm going off David Beckham, however, as he's changed his style to become too urban.

Mark Finn (28)

Retail assistant, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £65, vintage shop; T-shirt, £24, River Island; jeans, £40, Topman; trainers, |£4, Primark.

Why? I work in retail so I do need to keep up with trends, but I like to put my own personal twist on them. I would never wear Ugg boots, I think they look trampy.

Why? Justin Timberlake always looks smart and stylish. I don't like Russell Brand — his skinny jeans look is from two years ago.

Grant Cartwright (24)

Retail manager, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £70, jumper, £35, collar studs, £3, polo shirt, £6, all from Topman; jeans, £36, River Island; boots, £40, Zara.

Why? My style is quite clean-cut but I do try to add a rock edge to it. I really don’t like bootcut jeans or cowboy boots — they’re so dated.

Who? Tom Hardy is a man who looks good in a suit. Rylan Clark gets a thumbs down, though.

  • Monthly spend £400

Paul Martin (22)

PR supervisor at Vila, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £70, Jeff Banks; jumper, £25, River Island; shirt, £40, Hollister; scarf, £15, Timberland; jeans, £45, Zara; shoes, £47, Topman.

Why? I have to be casual and smart for work but not too smart. I don’t like Pod shoes — I think they're hideous.

Who? David Beckham is well-dressed but I don’t like Gok Wan’s style — he’s a bit too camp.

  • Monthly spend £100
