Fashion Spy: We hit the city's streets for a good snoop

Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style at Victoria Square and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Lucy Boe (26), retail assistant, Lisburn

Wore what? Dress, £28, necklace, £2, both Topshop; boots, £50, Office; scarf, £5, Primark.

Why? I try to follow trends, especially in the winter because it's my favourite season for fashion. I love having green and burgundy in my outfits.

Who? Lana Del Rey's style is perfect. It's sort of boho-chic and vintage. Her outfits are so different from anyone else.

Why? I like my style to be up-to-date so I try to follow trends. I love black and white outfits.

Who? I would have to say Selena Gomez is my style icon. Her style is feminine and fun, I love it.

Why? I like buying things from the high street. I usually stick to wearing neutral colours.

Who? My style icon would definitely have to be Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Her style is so classy and beautiful.

Wore what? Playsuit, £40, Topshop; coat, £30, Primark; shoes, £30, New Look.

Why? I like being unique and I love wearing black. I don't really follow trends, I just wear what I feel comfortable in.

Who? Cara Delevingne's style is great - she does her own thing, too. She's totally unique.

Why? My look varies. I like to change it up a bit by wearing more colours and patterns.

Who? I love the style of Binky from Made in Chelsea. She's quite laid-back and casual which is what I love most about her style.

Why? I would say my style is quirky and different. I love things that make me stand out from the crowd.

Who? Kate Hudson's style is gorgeous, especially for the winter season.

Wore what? Top, £10, shoes, £10, both NV; skirt, £20, New Look; coat, £70, Dorothy Perkins; fur headband, £6, Quiz; bag, £10, Primark.

Why? I like to follow trends, but do my own thing along with them. I like to look different.

Who? I love almost any Topshop model, they always look amazing. Kate Moss has modelled for them recently and her style is gorgeous.
