Elisha McCallion, the 33-year-old is the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, lives in Londonderry with her husband Declan and their children Daithi (10), Fiachra (8) and Malachi (1)

My husband, Declan

Declan and I are life-long partners. We met at a funfair when I was 14 and we've been together ever since.

Declan works as a welder and I get so much support from both him and the rest of the family, particularly this year.

My children

I have quite a big family and it's fair to say my kids are my life. I'm so proud of them and what they've achieved already - Daithi and Fiachra are budding footballers who have already had a couple of trials for high profile teams. They've been playing since they were three and I have to say I think Malachi is already starting to follow in their footsteps. The boys enjoy a very rounded life between sport, home and school.

My parents

My dad is still working as a painter and decorator, even though we're all telling him off for working too hard as he never stops. My mum used to manage a bar in Derry but she became the primary carer for my granny.

I have a brother, Sean-Paul, and a sister, Stephanie. I'm the middle child and I absolutely believe that middle child syndrome exists.

I've been an elected representative now for 11 years and I'm so proud to be the first citizen of the brand new Derry and Strabane Council. I've been doing this for the entire life of my family and the help and support they've given me has been amazing.

My best friend, Nicola Mullan

I met Nicola about 10 years ago through a friend of my husband and we hit it off straight away.

We've both been there for each other through tough times and good times. She's currently working in the community sector and is a real fitness fanatic.

My mentor, Conor Heaney

I've been lucky again in that there's a lot of people who have guided me over the years.

There's a member of Sinn Fein called Conor Heaney who has also given me good advice.

I am also fortunate that my aunt Martina Anderson is also the Sinn Fein MEP.

She is an excellent sounding board for anything to do with politics.

Person I go to for advice

I'm very fortune to have such an abundance of people that I can turn to for advice but the obvious person is my mother, Christine. Both her and my mother-in-law Anne-Marie are always at the end of the phone if ever I need them.

My celebrity crush

I think the term soccer mum was invented for me so I'm going to choose Ronaldo. He's easy on the eye but I find him a great model for the boys because of his humanitarian interests.

Fantasy dinner party

Staying on the theme football it would be people like  Roy Keane, Alex Ferguson and Ronaldo.

I would also ask Nelson Mandela because he inspired me so much and I have read his book at least once a year.

I would be interested in each of their stories as individuals and I would like to ask them all what really went on.
