Judith Robinson is the editor of Decor Kitchens and Interiors magazine, while husband Darren is joint head of advertising at Genesis Advertising. The Co Down pair got together around eight years ago through mutual friends.

I head up advertising campaigns for leading national companies such as Invest NI, Dale Farm, PSNI and the HSENI.

I love my work and working with clients to use different art forms to promote their messages. We have just finished a large multi-format campaign for Spar NI called Passionate about Local, promoting local fresh food and their new "enjoy local" food range.

I studied art at the Ulster University, and after my degree I got a job as a graphic designer for a small company. I then started working at Genesis as an art director where I worked my way up. I love doing a job I am so passionate about, and I am very lucky to do so.

Judith and I hit it off very naturally during a day out with mutual friends, and we have been together ever since.

I proposed at sunset while Judith was lying in a hammock on a jetty in Cuba. It was very romantic - I am a very romantic person. I took a big risk picking the ring and doing the whole surprise thing, as Judith has very specific taste and she knows what she likes, but luckily for me it paid off and she loved the ring.

We got married a couple of years later and went to the Maldives on honeymoon. We both love to travel and love our weekends away in cottages up the north coast and in Donegal, where we can take our dog Ella. When it comes to overseas destinations we have been to the Maldives and the Greek Islands. When we are away, it's about switching off from everything and being together.

Judith is a beautiful and extremely attractive girl, and importantly she's my best friend.

She is loyal and caring and we have a real laugh regardless of what we do together.

When we're not working we like to eat out.

The downside of Judith being editor of a stylish interiors magazines is that she has expensive tastes.

She knows what is on trend and she likes nice things.

Name: Darren Lyttle

Age: 36

Occupation: Joint Head of Advertising at Genesis Advertising

Relationship to Judith: Husband

I am the editor of Decor Kitchens and Interiors Magazine, and we have just celebrated the first anniversary with a big special issue. I love my job as I get to combine my two favourite passions - writing and interiors.

I have always been fascinated by magazines, previously it was fashion magazines - but then I got really into interiors.

I also write for some of the UK's leading homes and interiors magazines and do home shoots for them.

It doesn't feel like a job for me as I get such a buzz out of what I do - I love seeing how the whole magazine comes together.

I had known my husband Darren through mutual friends, but we met properly when a crowd of us went to the Old Crawfordsburn Inn about eight years ago. We went out for lunch, and it was such glorious weather we ended up sitting outside and making a whole day of it. We got on really well that day and there was a real connection - we've been together ever since.

Darren proposed to me on a powder white beach at sunset while we were holidaying in Cuba - he even had a ring. It came as a complete bolt out of the blue. Friends joked it might happen, but it really did surprise me. It was very romantic and we really want to go back to Cuba.

Darren is a real gentle giant - he is a big guy and plays a lot of rugby. When it comes down to it he is super chilled and relaxed. He is very quietly spoken and is extremely creative, and we both share a passion for interiors. We bought and renovated our first home in Crawfordsburn before we selling it and moving to Donaghadee.

We love being so close to the beach here, and we spend a lot of time walking our golden retriever Ella. She is four and, for the minute, she is our baby.

I am the chatty one, whereas Darren is quieter and more chilled out - but he is still is great craic on a night out and will be one of the first up singing.

He even sang to me during his wedding speech - the Don Williams classic You're My Best Friend - it was very romantic.

I really respect that he is so genuine and he doesn't care what other people think of him. What you see is what you get, and I love that. We see a lot of our families and have a close circle of friends. He can be messy around the house but he would probably say the same thing about me. At times you would think there were about six people living in our home - not just the two of us and the dog.
