Top stalls to visit at Belfast Spring Continental Market

The Spring Continental Market returns to the City Hall in Belfast this Bank Holiday weekend, and as always there is a huge range of local and international food stalls to enjoy in the sunshine.

The five-day Market will host some of the most popular food traders from across the globe as they serve up a variety of mouth-watering treats - including flavours from Germany, Greece, France, Spain, South Africa, and further afield.

Top local stalls to visit:

  • Rossi's Ice Cream

This Belfast-based parlour is very popular due to its authentic Italian ice cream.

Operating since 1888, they definitely know their stuff  and have a range of delicious flavours, including Forrest Fruits Cheesecake, Raspberry & White Chocolate, and Reese’s Pieces.

  • Papa’s Mineral Company

Specialising in cordials, Papa’s Mineral Company founder Wayne began by following his Grandmothers tradition and made Ginger Wine from her recipe.

From using old empty milk or lemonade bottles, the company has grown to offer a range of 7 flavours - Original Ginger Wine, Spiced Winterberry, Elderflower, Cloudy Lemonade , Traditional Clove, Classic Sarsaparilla and Sugar Free Ginger.

  • McAtamney Butchers

The well-known family business is a firm favourite throughout Northern Ireland and will no doubt be just as popular at the Market with their finest quality meat.

Established in 1933 by John McAtamney, the business is now owned and managed by the third generation of the McAtamney family, Oran. The company offers "high quality hand picked farm quality assured produce" including their own Gormet Range.

With shops as far and wide as Limavady, Ballymoney and Magherafelt, the people of Belfast should make the most of their presence at the Market.

  • Tom and Ollie

This Broughshane-based Delicatessens offer a delicious range of foods and are no stranger to Belfast as they regularly sell at St George's Market.

The company have an extensive range of produce available, including handmade hummus, pesto, tapenades, and harissa.

They also stock a range of olives and over 300 varieties of cheese.

  • Bella Paella

A family run mobile catering company which is run by Julian & Maria Jimenez Moreno from Spain.

Established in 2004, Bella Paella has been cooking and serving their delicious family Paella recipe for over 10 years.

Their incredibly simple but delicious recipe is a fresh meat based paella using chicken, pork and chorizo prepared in gigantic paella pans at Continental Markets throughout the UK.

  • Dutch Pancakes

The Dutch pancake stall will be serving mouth-watering delicious bite-size pancakes with lashings of butter and sugar, an extravagance native to their homeland.

A firm favourite at the Spring Continental Market, it's impossible to visit without stopping by for a taste.

  • Bratwurst sausage

The sizzling Bratwurst and Currywurst sausages straight from the traditional German Schwenkegrille are what visiting the Spring Continental Market is all about.
