TV personality Jenny Bristow is out to hook us on fish
Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace and Cullybackey's culinary genius Jenny Bristow have joined forces to teach fish fans some new tricks.
The initiative - Deck to Dinner - follows new research that revealed the vast majority of us (90%) are only comfortable cooking familiar fish that is pre- prepared.
This is despite two-thirds of us now eating fish once a week and supermarkets reporting increases in wet fish sales.
Now the celebrated Co Antrim chef and TV personality Bristow has helped create a series of easy to cook recipes for what the National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations calls its "Magnificent Seven of Sustainable Seafood, which are crab, megrim, coley, mackerel, hake, gurnard and plaice".
