Turn your home from drab to fab

Despite being a nation obsessed with home makeover shows it seems when it comes to revamping our homes some of us can struggle to find our own inspiration, so much so that many of us haven’t decorated or renovated their home in the past year.

Of those that have made changes to their home, most do so due to feeling embarrassed about their current home décor whilst others look to their friends for inspiration. It also seems that the nation’s obsession with period drama is influencing not just our TV viewing with homes across the country getting their creative ideas from watching shows like Downton Abbey.
So are you struggling to find the perfect colours to complement your abode? Do you need help deciding if a feature wall is the best way to experiment with colour and bold prints? What colours should you be thinking of using on your walls, and do dark colours really make a room feel smaller? What trends should we follow if we’re thinking of refreshing our current wallpaper? What’s the best way to accessorise a room whilst still making it feel clutter free?
Watch the video below where interior design guru Melanie Adams is on hand to give you the key trends for 2013 and give you the tips and inspiration you need to get you started on turning your home from drab to fab!
