The couple had a 4D scan done ahead of their son’s arrival as they wanted to know if they were having a boy or a girl.

Hannah said meeting her son for the first time gave her the most wonderful feeling she has ever experienced.

“It was absolutely amazing,” she said. “I can hardly describe it, everything was so overwhelming.

“I cried my eyes out and Shaun was very emotional, too.”

Hannah said their beautiful baby son looks very much like his father and she praised the staff at Lagan Valley Hospital for the care they provided while the young family were with them.

“Charlie is the spit of daddy,” Hannah said. “I was looking a baby pictures of Shaun and you would think it was Charlie.

“Having our baby at Lagan Valley was a great experience,” Hannah added.

“The staff couldn’t have been better and were there for everything I needed. They were absolutely amazing.”

Hannah said being a full-time mum to her little son is a great experience.

“This time last year my life was so different, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
