Just born: Emilia Faith Carson
Dad Neil has hands full dealing with three girls now
Neil and Emma-Louise Carson, from Bangor, are the proud parents of two little girls following the birth of their second daughter, Emilia Faith.
Emilia weighed 8lbs 10oz and measured 51cm when she was born at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald, on June 24 at 3.31am.
"She was six days late, so I was glad to see her," Emma-Louise said. "It was such a relief.
"She was born in her water membrane, it didn't break, which is apparently quite unusual."
Neil, a veterinary nurse, and Emma-Louise, a beauty salon owner, have noticed that parenthood is definitely a "bit easier" the second time around. "You have a bit of a clue, but are still learning," Emma-Louise added. "She's a wee dote, she looks like her sister Kharis, and my dad."
Living with Emma-Louise, Kharis (2) and baby Emilia leaves Neil "outnumbered" by females.
"He's surrounded by girls now, he's going to have to deal with a lot of hormones," Emma-Louise said.
"He's great, he's been such a good help to me. We are very happy."
The Carsons would like to thank their loved ones for all their support and said a special thanks to the staff at the Ulster.
"The staff were really friendly and reassuring when things got a bit chaotic," Emma-Louise said.
"They were all lovely people."
