John Hoy and Karen Sheals had a winter wedding.

Jeff and Janice Johnston, from the Four Winds area of Belfast, are embarking on the latest chapter of their lives together following their beautiful wedding on February 20. Jeff, an ICT incident manager for Invest NI, from Newcastle Upon Tyne, and Janice, a Belfast business manager for Estee Lauder in House of Fraser, met on November 14, 2009.

"We were both out in Belfast," Janice said.

"It was just one of those things. We bumped into each other and haven't been apart since. It's been a bit of a love story."

The couple became engaged in September 2012 "on the sofa" and were married on February 20 at the Ramada Plaza in Shaw's Bridge.

A piper played music for the couple as they made their way up and down the aisle and at the reception their first dance as husband and wife was to Ellie Goulding's song 'How Long Will I Love You'.

"We had the most amazing day of our lives," Janice said.

"When I look at the pictures I can't believe it's over.

"We made the decision for it to be very intimate so there were 40 people at the wedding and then we had a good party that night.

"People came from everywhere to be with us."

Mr and Mrs Johnston are currently curled up in front of the wood burner at Jeff's parents' holiday home in White Kirkley, Co Durham, and hope to honeymoon in May.

Married life suits the loved-up pair.

"It's only been a few days but it feels fantastic," Janice said.

The couple would like to thank their family and friends for helping make their big day so special.

"Thank you to our parents, Margaret and Michael Johnston, and Cyril and Marieanne Totten. They have been extremely supportive," Janice said.

"And thanks also to William at Digital Bride and Samuel Milligan from Personal Touch Wedding for everything."
