Sperrins Cycling Routes
Experience the wind rush and exhilaration of a unique landscape, rich in archaeological heritage and folklore on any of the 12 circular waymarked cycle routes of the Sperrins. Each route hosts points of interest along the way, where you can stop to explore, have a rest or a bite to eat.

A spectacular route round the Sperrins has made it into National Geographic’s list of the world’s top 101 most scenic drives.

The route made it to 88th on the prestigious list and was praised for having “wild beauty, ideal trails and dreamy villages”.

It was one of only two Irish drives to be included in the list. The Ring of Kerry was ranked 57th best scenic drive in the world. Number one was the Cape Breton drive in Canada.

The Sperrins have been described as Northern Ireland’s largest and least explored mountain range and can be explored through four separate scenic driving routes through the region.

These routes take in a wealth of natural countryside, spectacular scenery and ancient monuments.
