Recipe: Oatmeal ice cream
These Flahavan’s recipes show that there’s more to oats than just porridge.
What you'll need
175g Flahavan’s Porridge oats
275ml double cream
75g caster sugar
1 tbsp Bloom Mountain Organic Irish Cream Liqueur
Take a thick-based frying pan and toast the Flahavan’s Porridge Oats carefully to an even light brown. Leave it to cool and whip the cream. Gently fold in the sugar, then the toasted oats.
Add the Bloom Mountain. Stir carefully and put into tubs in the freezer.
Before serving, transfer them into the refrigerator for half an hour to soften slightly.
