Should I tell him how I feel?

My parents are friends with a couple who are a lot younger than them. The man is only 34 and that’s 19 years older than me, but I really like him.

I can see he and his wife aren’t happy together and I’m sure he knows how I feel about him, but he hasn’t shown any sign how he feels about me.

She’s older than him and it makes me crazy knowing he’s with her and not me.

I really want to let him know that I care about him. When do you think would be the right time to do this? PL

I'm sorry to say there is never a ‘right time’ to announce you're in love with someone who isn't free to return it.

By my calculations, you're 15 and he probably sees you as a child — especially as he's friends with your parents.

If you're going to change your feelings you'll have to change your behaviour, so try to avoid any situations where you are likely to meet him.
