Delicious dining with tantalising Telegraph offer
Friday, 9 January 2009
At a time when the financial climate is as harsh as the weather, the Belfast Telegraph brings you an unmissable credit-crunch busting offer.
In partnership with 12 of Belfast’s top restaurants and Belfast’s Chamber of Trade and Commerce, you can enjoy a main course with a glass of house wine or soft drink for just £6.95.
All you need to do is collect one token from the Belfast Telegraph or Sunday Life, starting on Monday.
John Moore, president of the Chamber said: “We are absolutely delighted to work with the Belfast Telegraph on this offer. Our city has a number of fantastic international standard restaurants who use the finest local produce and employ huge numbers in the service sector. These kinds of great value offers will encourage city dwellers and visitors alike to take advantage of the superb restaurants and other activities which are happening across the city this month.”
Jason Moore from Number 27 in Talbot Street in the bustling Cathedral Quarter said: “We have worked up some special treats on our menu for this promotion and are anticipating a popular turnout. We have such a wealth of food talent here in Belfast so its great to be part of it.”
Colleen Irvine from Ba Mizu at House of Fraser added: “This is a great way to encourage people to try out restaurants that maybe they haven’t eaten in before, and here’s hoping they like what they see, so they’ll come back for more!”
Andy Rea of Mourne Seafood Bar said: “The meal deal promotion is great offer for the Belfast Telegraph readers. At Mourne Seafood Bar we have come up with really succulent seafood meals including some of our seasonal signatures dishes customers can enjoy as part of the promotion."
Readers will be able to choose from a choice of three main meals from the restaurants listed below every week night Monday to Thursday from Monday January 12 until Thursday February 5.
The offer will be available between 5pm and 7pm with last orders at 6.45pm.
To take advantage of this offer readers simply need to collect a Meal Deal token from the Belfast Telegraph/Sunday Life.
Tokens will appear in the papers between January 12-25, with one token per person required to claim the Meal Deal offer.

I intended to use the meal deal voucher on Thursday 29th Jan but when I bought the Belfast telegraph on 28th Jan to collect a voucher I discovered the vouchers were only available between 12 - 25 Jan. A bit of a rip off if you ask me.
So much for the unmissable credit crunch offer!!
