Do you have any old pics of Dunmurry? I'd love to see some. I lived there from birth until 1964

Do you have any pictures of Greencastle/ Whitehouse, where the No. 7 tram ended, or the area around Barbours Mill which is now gone , I lived in Maiden's Row 70 years ago,

I have just come across this site and noticed a large crowd outside my home which was two doors away from the amusements in those days.
If you go to the right of the picture and seven cars along. I lived in Mount Oriel No.2
Would you happen to have in your old publications a picture of my mother being interviewed in the early 60's by the BBC. She is standing outside the front door with her arms folded? It would be wonderful to have a copy of this. Mrs. Doherty was her name. How much is this picture of the Promenade? I would love a copy but not in canvas. I am a photographer myself and I would like a 12 x 18in. Black photo please.
This has brought so many memories back. Such a delight to see them. Only people from that period would appreciate such wonderful reproductions of this period.

Sad that in the cases of Portstewart and P'rush pics are all we do have left - so much has been pulled down for apartments.

Co Derry certainly doesn't exist!

We will be adding more photos of Ulster towns in the next week or two, including Bangor, Groomsport, Donaghadee, Banbridge, Ballynahinch, Ardglass, Ballycastle, Portrush, Portstewart, Cultra, Hillsborough, Lisburn, Holywood, Carrickfergus and Cushendall. Others will follow including towns in Tyrone and Derry. These make great Xmas presents so please keep an eye on the site! If we can be of any assistance, then please call us on 02897 542185.

It would seem that Co Tyrone and Co Derry do not exist as far as the Belfast Telegraph is concerned.

Any of Donegal Town?
Posted by James Fitzpatrick | 28.10.09, 15:56 GMT
Lovely photos - particulary of Newcastle and Portaferry - would love to see some of Banbridge - my grandparents Sean and Mary Connolly had a doctor's surgery in Newry Road (my Dad was born in 1930 so going a way back). Their home/surgery was a video store last time I saw it in 2000.
