Ryanair vows to increase Shannon-London services
Tuesday, 14 August 2007
The airline says it will provide three additional flights daily to Stansted, Gatwick and Luton, all of which are close to London.
As a 25% owner of Aer Lingus, Ryanair says it is also seeking an emergency general meeting to allow the company's shareholders an opportunity to vote on the Heathrow decision.
It says it is willing to join forces with the Irish government to reverse the decision if the Fianna Fail-Green-PD coalition is prepared to do so.
