Hundreds of Northern Ireland fans were today wrapping up in their scarves and hats to cheer their team on in the "must-win" clash with Iceland tonight.

After last Saturday's disastrous 1-0 defeat to lowly Latvia, the international side now needs to take maximum points this evening to keep alive the dream of European Championship qualification.

But it will be no easy task for Nigel Worthington's men. The last match between the two saw Iceland beat Northern Ireland 3-0 in Belfast one year ago.

However, Northern Ireland's Green and White army of devoted supporters who landed in Reykjavik this week were keeping hopes and the party spirit alive despite the extravagant cost of alcohol - up to £8 for a pint of beer.
