How do you fancy taking on the Eddie Irvine and the world's racing fraternity?

Well, here's your chance. Ten teams, set to include some very well known racing names, are to battle it out in a go-karting endurance race at the Eddie Irvine Sports Centre in Bangor to help raise cash for Clic Sargent Homes from Homes appeal.

Organisers are looking for members of the public to help make up one of the teams which will be racing under the watchful eye of the Formula One legend on Friday March 22.

Stars of the show will be the Motorsports Legends team which includes Jeremy McWilliams, Colin Turkington, Kris Meeke and of course Eddie Irvine.

Other teams involved include Lindsay Ford, Charles Hurst Peugeot, Northern Excavators, Eurostance, Bombardier, Contraflex, and hosts and event organisers Acclaim who will throw off the 'L' plates for the evening and join in the fun.

One team is still to be filled. Interested participants should contact Eileen at Acclaim on 028 90694455 or email eileen.cummings@acclaimdriving.com .

Spectator tickets are on sale now and cost £10.00 per person from Eddie Irvine Sports, Acclaim Driving Academy and Clic Sargent.
