Christine and Eoghan are reality TV favourites
Two Northern Ireland hopefuls are among the bookmakers’ favourites to win this year’s top television shows Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor.
Irish bookies Paddy Power is offering odds of 8/1 on Twinkle Toes Christine Bleakley to be crowned Strictly Come Dancing’s outright champion - making her the second favourite female, behind Rachel Stevens.

Christine has already impressed the judges on the show, with head judge Len Goodman predicting she will go all the way to the fianl.
And Dungiven teenager Eoghan Quigg is in the top seven contenders most likley to win the X Factor, according to Paddy Power.
The bookies is offering odds of 10/1 on the singing school boy.
The final 12 for the Simon Cowell-led talent search have not yet been revealed, but the bookies are already predicting that Bolton lass Laura White will follow in the footsteps of Leon Jackson and Leona Lewis.
On Strictly, Christine will have a weekend off from the judges’ comments as she will not be dancing competitively tonight.
Instead it is the turn of the men to dance either the jive or the tango.
Next week, however, Christine and her dance partner Matt Cutler will take to the floor again to perform a quick step.
And over on ITV viewers will find out this weekend if Eoghan gets picked for the final 12.
He will be seen performing in front of Simon at the music mogul’s Barbados holiday home in a bid to win the chance to sing live every week.
