Northern Ireland's Department of Education said 12 schools would be closed on Wednesday after leaks caused by the arctic weather conditions and the sudden thaw.
They are:
Bridge Integrated Primary School, Banbridge;
St Brigid's High School, Armagh;
Ballymoney Nursery School, Ballymoney;
Slemish Integrated College, Ballymena;
Riverside Special School, Antrim;
St Patrick's College, Ballymena;
Bloomfield Collegiate, Belfast;
St John the Baptist Boys and Girls Primary School, Belfast;
St Teresa's Primary School, Belfast;
Park Special School, Belfast;
Tudor Lodge Nursery School, Belfast;
St Eugene's Primary School, Londonderry
