By Crawfordsburn Primary School

Pupils from Crawfordsburn Primary School paid a special visit to the Belfast Telegraph headquarters on Wednesday.

The P5 class were guests in the newsroom after winning a Translink competition for Little Reporters.

They were met by Managing Editor Darwin Templeton and Head of Local Agency Lucy Dougan who gave them a tour of the building.

The children also met Picture Editor Peter Rainey who explained how images were sourced for use in reports in the paper and online.

They were also shown how the paper was put together on screen, using a special programme.

After a picture outside the building, the children travelled to Titanic Belfast where they received a masterclass in journalism from Darwin.

Laura said there were a lot of stairs at Belfast Telegraph House, which she enjoyed climbing.
