Marks & Spencer is calling on customers to roll up their sleeves and get involved in its first Big Clean-up.
Hazelbank Beach in Newtownabbey has been chosen as one of six across the UK that will be cleaned up on May 11.
The M&S Big Beach Clean-up, organised by the Marine Conservation Society and supported by Newtownabbey Council, will take place between Friday, May 11, and Sunday, May 13, to stop common items such as fishing nets, ropes and bottles tops polluting beaches and seas.
Customers who register in advance at www.mcsuk.org/foreverfish will receive an M&S voucher and some free snacks on the day of the clean.
An extra incentive to get involved at Hazelbank Beach will be a barbecue and kids’ games.
