Ex-smokers can save £4k a year

The average Northern Ireland smoker could save more than £4,000 a year if they quit, a survey has said.

More than two-fifths (43%) of smokers surveyed admit their children or family hates them smoking, according to figures by the British Heart Foundation NI to mark the launch of the 30th annual No Smoking Day on March 13.
