Waiting lists are way off target

The figures were revealed in the Department of Health’s December waiting list statistics which covered the last three months of 2010.

Over 35,000 |patients have been waiting more than 13 weeks.

The 2010/2011 ministerial target states that, by the end of this month, no patient should wait longer than nine weeks for their first outpatient appointment.
