Ulster's golden girl moves in as Klass act steps aside
Ulster's golden girl of television could be The One to land a top job with the BBC, it has emerged today.
Christine Bleakely looks likely to replace Myleene Klass as a permanent presenter on the BBC's prime time magazine programme - The One Show.
Christine Bleakely has been standing in for the former 'HearSay and 'I'm A Celebrity' star's maternity leave.
And after yesterday's shock announcement that Klass (29) is quitting the show it is Ulster's very own Christine who is in poll position.
Myleene, who is engaged to Graham Quinn, gave birth to baby Ava at a top London Hospital three-and-a-half weeks early. The M&S model went into labour shortly after co-hosting The One Show. Yesterday she said she was quitting the show to concentrate on motherhood.
Christine was spotted by the show's producer back in July and asked to join the team at the very last minute.
The One Show is a prime time magazine show for BBC1. It is a blend of live interviews, features and topical stories from across the UK.
Christine has been working beside well known TV names like comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli, Carol Thatcher, Phil Tufnell, Colin Jackson and studio presenter Adrian Chiles.
