Holiday off track
Saturday, 14 April 2007
Translink successfully ruined Easter Sunday for my family.
Having telephoned timetable inquiries in the previous week to check on the train times for Easter Sunday from Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly, we were informed that the train left Belfast Central at 10.30am.
On arrival at the station, our English visitors found that the train had left at 10am, and thus they had not only missed the train, but also their luncheon appointment in Dublin.
This caused disruption for three families who should have been enjoying the holiday.
