Spread the investment, please

All the media outlets have been running news stories on last week's
investment conference which was held in Belfast.
How another new dawn is happening in Northern Ireland. New jobs, investment
and a higher quality of life. But for where?
Belfast has changed dramatically over the past 10 years.
Its improvements must be welcomed with open arms. However, it should not be
done at the expense of other areas of the country where the majority of the
population live.
Hearing about hundreds of jobs or billions of pounds of investment being put
into Belfast does not create the same sort of excitement for people living
in Tyrone, Fermanagh or Derry.
When are those in power going to realise that the last 40 years was not as
much about whether or not a united Ireland should or should not happen, but
about jobs and opportunities.
Both of which many of us are still lacking.
