How to mislead politicians
Friday, 4 July 2008
RIR (UDR) disbanded, RUC destroyed and replaced by a service which has been subjected to criticism over the years from senior professionals in Great Britain, RAF Aldergrove closed, St Patrick's Barracks closed, Ballykelly Barracks closed, the west of the province denuded of security cover — and so the list goes on, even down to the closure of Harryville post office, allied, of course, to the gifts to the republican movement.
A blind man on a galloping horse would see the policy of withdrawal being implemented by successive governments.
However, our 'unionist' politicians either cannot see or/and are willing participants in the betrayal of the unionist people.
Money and plaudits from the great and the good is all that is needed to salve the consciences of practically all our unionist politicians.
What is the old saying about not putting your trust in men?
