Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood has been divorced by his wife of 24 years on the grounds of his admitted adultery.
Former model Jo Wood (54) was granted a decree nisi by a judge sitting in the High Court's Family Division in central London.
The brief proceedings before District Judge Anne Aitken were not attended by Mrs Wood, who recently starred in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing series, or 62-year-old guitarist Ronnie.
In divorce documents made public yesterday the person with whom the star committed adultery was not named.
He and Jo married in January 1985 and have two children together.
But they split last year after the musician began a relationship with Ekaterina Ivanova.
In a question-and-answer-style divorce paper, Mrs Wood, of Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, who has her own range of organic beauty products, is asked: “State briefly your reasons for saying that the respondent has committed the adultery alleged.”
She answers that he “has admitted it to me.”
Mrs Wood is further asked: “On what date did it first become known to you that the respondent had committed the adultery alleged?” She replies: “Shortly before our separation.”
Asked if she finds it intolerable to live with him, she states: “Yes.”
In a separate document Mr Wood is asked: “Do you admit the adultery alleged in the petition?”
He replies: “Yes.”
