Antrim man dies in Moroccan crash
Monday, 29 December 2008
A 31-year-old has been killed in a holiday bus crash in Morocco.
Gary Porter from Ballymena in Antrim was on holiday with his wife.
They were on their way from the airport to Marrakech just 36 hours after spending Christmas with Mr Porter's family in Ballymena.
Mr Porter's 30-year-old wife Natalie survived the accident. At least six other people died.
The couple, who were five years married, had met during their student years in Bristol, and lived in Warwick where they were both dentists.
Family members said an autopsy had to be carried out before his body is returned to them.

Mr Gary Porter was my Dentist. He was such a caring, professional and well liked gentleman. I am very shocked to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and work colleagues at this time.
