The driver of the car in which Diana, Princess of Wales was killed spent time in a hotel bar in the hours before the crash, a jury heard today.

CCTV footage viewed at the Princess's inquest today showed Henri Paul going to the bar at the Ritz Hotel in Paris shortly after 10pm on the night of the tragedy.

The jury has already heard that blood tests showed Mr Paul was over the drink-drive limit when he crashed into a pillar in an underpass in the early hours of 31st. August 1997.

But Dodi's father Mohamed al Fayed, who owns the Ritz in Paris as well as Harrods in London, insists Mr Paul was not drunk and that the samples were switched.
