Car bomb probe men released

Four men questioned for five days about the attempted murder of a police officer in a bomb explosion last week were released without charge yesterday.

The men had been detained in swoops in Co Tyrone last Thursday following the bombing three days before.

A man and woman arrested on Friday were released without charge on Monday.

The young Catholic officer suffered serious leg injuries as he drove through the village of Spamount.
