Four men were last night charged with a catalogue of offences including armed robbery and possession of guns and drugs.
They were detained in Co Antrim when police stopped a car following an attempt to rob the Post Office in Cullybackey yesterday.
A short time earlier four men armed with a hand gun had forced customers in the village Post Office to lie on the floor while they staged a robbery.
All men are due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court today.
