Couple to leave Antrim home after racist attacks
Monday, 29 December 2008
A couple say they plan to leave their home in Ballyclare, Co Antrim, after a series of racist incidents culminating in an arson attack on Saturday.
Graeme Bowler and his Indian-born wife Ajita only moved into the house two weeks ago.
Since then, they have been subjected to a series of racist attacks.
On Saturday, breeze blocks and wooden poles were used to smash their windows before a petrol bomb was thrown into the house.
The couple say they are unhappy that it took the police 90 minutes to come to their aid.
