Police believe this man may hold vital information about an attempted kidnap and robbery in west Belfast two years ago.
During an appeal on Crimewatch last night detectives appealed for Belfast man James Patrick Manning to contact them.
Mr Manning may have vital information which could help with their inquiries.
The incident happened on August 22, 2005. At about 2am masked and armed men forced their way into a house in the west Belfast area.
The intruders tied up a number of occupants in the house while a woman was instructed to go to her place of work and remove money.
The attempt was unsuccessful and no money was handed over.
Mr Manning is described as being 42 years old, 5ft 9ins tall, of thin build with short straight grey hair.
He has blue eyes and may have stubble.
A 35-year-old man was charged with six counts of unlawful imprisonment and one count of blackmail in relation to this incident.
