Police have appealed for information regarding an assault in south Belfast this week.
A man in his late 20s was punched and beaten with a baseball bat by a gang of six masked men who broke into his Benburb Street home just after 10pm on Wednesday.
He sustained cuts and bruises to his face and head.
They have been described as wearing masks and dark clothing.
Anyone who might have information about the assault is asked to contact police.
