Hi °C | Lo °C A 15-year-old girl charged in connection with the fatal attack on west Belfast greengrocer Harry Holland is today in custody for her own safety.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced two charges when she appeared at Belfast Youth Court yesterday afternoon.
She was charged with one count of unlawfully fighting in the Norfolk Drive/Norbury Road area causing an affray and another count of assaulting the 65-year-old pensioner, occasioning actual bodily harm.
The girl, in attendance, made no reply when the charges were put to her in court.
A detective constable told the court he believed he could connect the teenager to both charges.
