Presenter Eamonn Holmes married long-term partner Ruth Langsford at a glitzy, celebrity-filled ceremony in England on Saturday.
But the couple have delayed their honeymoon in order to attend another special event in Belfast.
The newlyweds are flying back to Northern Ireland next week to see Eamonn’s son Declan (21) graduate from Queen’s University, where Eamonn was given an honorary doctorate four years ago.
Their big day at the Elvetham Hotel — a posh 19th century renovated stately home in Hampshire — had an Irish theme, with a ceili band and Irish dancers performing.
Sky TV presenter Eamonn popped the question to Ruth, also 50, last March after 12 years together.
