Reality TV star Jade Goody is said to be desperate to be able to see her two sons one last time on Mothers' Day.

The dying star is now spending most of her time asleep at home in Essex under heavy sedation.

Her two boys, Bobby and Freddy, have been staying with their dad Jeff Brazier.

Meanwhile, flowers from well-wishers have made Jade Goody smile through her painful final days, her friend has said.

The star, who is battling with terminal cancer, sent a message of thanks to the public for all the support.

Close friend and personal trainer Kevin Adams spoke to reporters outside the gate at her home in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

He said: "Jade just says thanks everyone for the flowers and that her house now smells like the Chelsea Flower Show and it brought a smile to her face."

Mr Adams has been living at Jade's house and caring for her throughout her ordeal.

Goody's mother Jackiey Budden said: "I just want to thank the whole public for the support they've given Jade and the presents and the flowers and all the support cards."

Later, Goody's husband Jack Tweed left the house with Mr Adams without answering questions from the media.
