Man arrested after hotel car park brawl

One man was arrested by police after a weekend disturbance involving 10 people at a well-known Northern Ireland hotel.

The incident occurred at the La Mon Hotel and Country Club outside Comber in Co Down shortly before midnight on Saturday.

It is understood that police were called after the disturbance broke out at the hotel.

Upon arrival officers saw a crowd of around 10 people involved in an altercation in the car park.

Those involved were separated and spoken to by police.

A 24-year-old male was arrested. It is understood that CS Spray was used during the arrest .

There were no reports of any injuries.

The Belfast Telegraph contacted the La Mon Hotel and Country Club but a manager would not make any comment on the incident.
