A man from Co Tyrone formed a suicide pact with a teenage girl he was banned from seeing under a sexual offences prevention order, the High Court was told.
Prosecutors said it was alleged the 20-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, asked if she was still alive.
He is accused of breaching the order against him by forming a relationship with the girl (17). Bail was denied.
