£10k of metal stolen from home

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information after around £10,000 worth of metal and other items were taken from a vacant house in Dunmurry.

Thieves removed the heating system from the property on Groganstown Road along with lead from the roof and oil from the tank. The external oil pump was also stolen.

The radiators in the house had been removed from the walls but had not been taken away.

A significant amount of water damage was caused to the house.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the property between June 28 and July 4. They can be contacted at Lisburn police station on 0845 600 8000.
